14th Birthday

Sunday, Riley turned 14. One photo for each of the years. Rough start, but through the Journey you have taught me (us) so much about being a parent and who we are. Here is to continued Joy in 2016 and more embarrassing photos. We Love You Riley!

2009… Surrounded by AMAZING people #GiveKidsTheWorld

Had amazing time at Give Kids the World... Passes/backstage and all to Disney... Make a Wish Foundation.... Every chance I get I drop in the "spare change"... It makes a difference not only for the child, but makes a family feel normal/special/amazing.

2010… This photo was the cover of the Newspaper on an article impacting babies/special needs #AdvocateMom

This photo appeared in many papers. Stacie has been an incredible advocate for Special Needs. The article(s) was on RSV (breathing issues with special needs). She has since advocated the hell to make Riley's School the model for the State of Florida (special needs programs). I don't think there isn't an administrator in the Lee County Schools who has not encountered (sorry) or head from/of her. I post this and know that she will take it as a compliment (as it was meant... although I have had to act at the United Nations... at times... my role was like causing a peace agreement between ISIS and the rest of the world). We all have our roles in the pursuit of Riley and Special Needs.
